Our Favorite Granola

Once you try homemade granola, you can never go back! Meet one of our go-to prep recipes that you can have on hand for quick breakfasts! Top yogurt, smoothies, pancakes, muffins, or just eat plain! This granola recipe is extremely versatile and can be used interchangeably with ingredients you have on hand! Change up the nuts, seeds, fruits, and sweetener to create your favorite granola!

Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups rolled oats
  • 1.5 cups nuts and seeds almonds, walnuts, pepitas, sunflower seeds used
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil softened
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup sweetener maple syrup or honey
  • 1/4 cup dried fruit unsweetened, optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, combine the oats, nuts, seeds, salt and cinnamon. Pour in the coconut oil, sweetener and vanilla. Mix well, until everything is nicely coated.
  • Spread granola in a thin layer on the baking sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes, stirring every 10-15 minutes. The granola will continue to crisp while it cools.
  • After it is cooled, add in your dried fruit. Store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks or in the freezer for up to three months.
