5 Minute Hummus

A quick and protein-filled snack that is the perfect complement to vegetables, wraps, sandwiches, and more!
- 1 Can (15oz) Chickpeas NOT drained
- 2-4 Cloves Garlic Peeled
- 1/2 Cup Tahini (ground sesame seeds)
- 1/2 Lemon Juiced
- 1-2 Tbsp Olive Oil
- Optional spices and garnishes: pine nuts, chickpeas, paprika, cumin, parsley, etc.
In a microwave safe bowl, add the chickpea and its water along with the garlic.
Microwave for 5 minutes. Let cool. Drain and reserve the liquid.
Transfer chickpeas to a high powered blender or food processor.
Add tahini, lemon juice, and sea salt.
Blend until combined then, as the blender is still going, drizzle in the olive oil until smooth.
Top with olive oil and additional garnishes if desired and serve!
