Understanding Normal and Clinical Nutrition presents the fundamentals of nutrition and nutrition therapy along with their practical applications to daily life and clinical settings. Starting with normal nutrition, the authors introduce nutrients and their physiological impacts, as well as nutritional guidelines for good health and disease prevention.

This research is aimed to compare the functional exercise capacity and pulmonary functions in patients with diabetes and in healthy persons.

What should I expect from the evaluation?

In 90 minutes, learn exactly what you are made of. The InBody Scan offers a body composition breakdown including body fat percentage, body water, inflammation, visceral fat, and more! Then take a moment to sit back and relax during the Resting Metabolic Rate assessment which lasts about 10-15 minutes so we can learn exactly how many calories you burn and how many are needed to lose, gain or maintain weight. Afterward, run on a treadmill, hooked up to a VO2max mask, so we can determine your cardiorespiratory fitness and how we can optimize your workouts to either burn fat or increase your endurance. Assessments will be gone over with a health coach.

Is MoreEnergy a weight loss clinic?

No! MoreEnergy uses scientific instruments to determine exactly how your body should be fueled, how to optimize movement, and ways to provide adequate rest. We encourage behavior changes that will use these results to increase our client’s quality of life. Side effects of these actions may include weight loss, improved mood, more confidence, and MoreEnergy.
