Resting Metabolic Rate Testing

Resting Metabolic Rate Testing

Resting metabolic rate (RMR) is the measurement of how much food, or energy (calories), are required to maintain basic functions like that of your heart, lungs, and brain while in a state of rest.

Everyone’s metabolic rate is highly unique and can change over time. There are so many individual factors that impact metabolic rate like: age, gender, body composition, hormones, medication use, activity levels and more.

Understanding your unique metabolic rate can help you increase athletic performance, overcome weight loss challenges and plateaus, increase lean muscle, or eat properly for overall health & longevity.
